STAR MEGA JAM WILL NOT HOLD THIS YEAR

Those who are expecting the yearly Star Mega Jam to hold will have their hopes dashed as organizers of the concert have announced that the show will not hold this year.

In a statement released today by organizers of the event, Nigerian Breweries through its Corporate Affairs Adviser, Yusuf Ageni, the company has apologized for all ‘inconveniences this will cause the fans, who have been eagerly awaiting this year’s edition’.

According to the company’s PR manager Edem Vindah, the concert will not hold due to ‘logistics challenges’ they were facing.

The first ever edition of the annual Star Mega Jam took place back in 2000 and featured Makossa singer Awilo Logomba. Over the years others stars who have headlined the concert include Shaggy, Usher Raymond, Koffi Olumide, Ja Rule, Kevin Little, LL Cool J, Akon, Kanye West, T-Pain, Nas, Nelly, Busta rhymes, Ludacris and most recently R. Kelly.
